STOP!Stop Thief!

August, 8th 1999

Information wants to be free. Or so the saying goes. Many people have asked me: "Can I use your info to create my own anti-popup site?" And the answer is YES you can! However, before you start doing it, I'd like to say a few words. Although imitation is the most sincere form of flattery -- I get flattered too much. Seems that there are a lot of people out there with no imagination but, I won't mention URLS or give them a free link and lots of hits. Some people like to steal my work and call it their own.

You can take the tips that I have printed here and use them to create your own UNIQUE site. What you CAN'T do is go to the "FILE" menu and choose "SAVE AS" and rename all of my pages and put your name on them. This is called theft! I spent a lot of time putting this site together. If you write to me and ask if you can use my info I will freely give it to you. But, I would expect that you are smart enough to change the colors, change the format, change the text, and basically take the tips and put them into a site of YOUR OWN CREATION! This means coming up with a different table structure, YOUR own words and comments, and maybe some new ideas that I haven't thought of yet! In other words -
BE ORIGINAL! Be yourself... don't try to imitate my pages. Try a new design of your own creation!

I will share all new tips I get with you. Plus I will link to you from my Links page. I will try to help your site in anyway that I can. But, this all depends on whether you have some creativity or not. If you are TOTALLY unoriginal and just steal my site and put your name on it: then NO I will not help you or link to you. But, if I feel that you are really trying to help spread the news of killing popups than I will bend over backwards to send traffic to your site. The information is free! The tips are free! Try to be creative.. don't copy me! If you have any questions or want to discuss your site with me I'm always available:
