Misery loves company Empty souls need others to steal She wants you to know her suffering She needs you to feel as she feels
Jealousy keeps her warm Accompanied with bitterness and hate She can’t stand to be alone in her scorn So she’ll search for the easiest person to break
Don’t let her inside you, don’t open that door Don’t try to call yourself her friend She’s dead on the inside and she’s waiting for The chance to tear someone down again
She’ll slit her wrist to make you feel guilty Cut herself to say it’s your fault It’s always easier to blame someone happy Set up another to take the fall
Spiteful to the core Because the whole world is the enemy She says what she can to feel more secure By hating those who she wants to be
Scared to death of her own reflection She needs others to share the pain Dead on the inside She wants everyone to feel the same
Chains and spikes and everything nice But she’ll cry when she’s in the dark Cry, for the emptiness in her life For the hollowness in her heart
*Much Thanks to Erin Anthony for this inspiration*
(Note: I don't believe in putting a person's name on this page but because I know you seem to think that every single one of my poems is for you, I figured I'd write the first one that actually is) |
