I am slowly falling apart
and I am helpless in watching
tiny bits break away,
to drift away from as
my world collapses all around,
and I am surrounded by piles
of broken shards of memories
that sink painfully into my flesh
causing painful, scarlet streams
to mix with salty tears while
the rest of me falls away. |
