My ghazal poem from GoP`sPC

"Literary tradition"

In my youth I found the beauty of Eliot,
Breeding Lilacs out of the dead land.

There is much I share with Longfellow,
Despairing my lost youth in the dead land.

For what can star-crossed lovers hope,
But a meeting beyond this long dead land?

I wrote my first poem so long ago
About sunshine, gladdening this grey dead land.

I have not a poetic name, Leo Norman,
But it has some meaning here, in this dead land.
