Lost in my mindless thoughts
Theres nothing worth speaking of
The emptiness is too hard to explain
I long to cry but could never face the tears
The way I see the world is shrouded in darkness
Maybe I'm seeing with a cold heart
Maybe I see the truth.
The reality is the world is meaningless
So many promised things non existent
I've lost my best friend to the pain of worthlessness
And theres nothing I can do.
At least now i'm not alone.
