Raindrop tears

Raindrops fall
And splash against the ground
It doesn't matter
The rain will hide my tears.
Meaningless pools of water
Gather on the ground
Nearby trees sway
Their roots made bare by the rain
that eats away at the ground below.
Not only roots are shown in the rain
But the fears of times long past
For when it rains my tears flow free
If only for a moment
The rain and I are one.
