Dance around,
Cold hands of night.
Reaching and clawing
In childlike wonder.
Dance about,
As you lower your eyes.
If only to shield
Your heartless state.

Raise up a hand
To hide a glass face,
As spirit burns raw
Without courage.

Blood runs thick
And yet still falls.
So dance about
Fiery eyes,
To hide your feeling
From water.
