This used to be my playground this was once my home Now as I look at this I can't help but fell alone I lost my best friend here her name was childhood
I see the kids on the swings so happily there As they slide down the slide the laugher of joy Haunts my ears that is not us we are all grown up now and we can't play here anymore
What I would not give for just one more time to be here as a kid wild young and free this used to be my playground but now it haunts my dreams |
