Sure I do have a daddy
But I don’t see him all the time
I am only allowed to go
and see him every other weekend
Because that’s the way that
My mommy says it has to be
So every other weekend
We are all together
as one big happy family
Doing all the great things
that all brothers and sisters should do
I wait all week for that time
to come once again
when I can go to my daddies
and I can be happy
with all of my brothers and sisters
and just be happy
But I dread the fact when
I have to go home
back to that smelly little house
that I hate so much
But I want to stay with Daddy
Why can’t I live with Daddy?
So sure I am happy
and sure I have a family
But you have to understand
That it is not everyday
Its a every other weekend
