let them bounce behind her
As the little blue bows in perfect unison
Her feet fit the pavement her mind giggles so softly
the girl is lost inside of her own day dream world
the little school girl she is
lost inside of that innocence
that she still has a couple more years to hang onto
the innocence that she needs to keep herself young
On the playground with her friends
with the jump rope and the hop scotch game
on that swing set wishing that she could just go higher
content in her childhood that she has around
As her world still keeps going
Don’t you wish that you could just keep her like that
for the rest of her life that young innocent and pure
