Looking For Her

He walked down the sidewalk and let the moon light his way
Walking to her house, so far away
Been looking for it forever and a day
It seems that it doesn't exist

And he skipped over moonbeams in rock-shaped form
Feet so tired, eyes so worn
Lost in the fantasy, ignoring the storm
Longing for the one he had kissed

And walking along, singing a song
Loving her eyes, wherever they are
Flying on rocket-ships, losing to memory
Heaven knows it's been so long
And he wishes on a random star
And says "I love you...wherever you are"
And he'll walk forever, if it takes that long
Skipping merrily, singing his song
And perhaps a few will sing along
And he'll find her one day, and she'll smile again
But up until that day, up until then
He's looking for her, soft and mild
That pretty little moonbeam child...
