Crazy Times

Let's go sit in the rain,
I'm sick of finding fame,
Let's throw our money in the street,
I dunno about you babe, but I'm beat.

Let's go back to another time,
Where we could lead such simple lives,
But instead we're drowning our pain in the bar,
Sometimes I touch you and you're still so far.

Oh, it's a crazy time we live in dear,
There's so many worldy things to fear,
To sit in the rain and feel your bare skin,
And not have to worry about all of the sin.

The rain seeps down my curling hair,
I love it so whenyou touch me there,
We'll escape tonight as the lighting flashes,
Have a moment of peace before the wave crashes.
