Nails

Dripping fingernails,
Painted garish red,
She lifts the cigerette,
To her sensual mouth.

Long and red they seem to claw,
Thier way into my heart,
It's all so crazy I'm going insane,
I swear to God,
I don't think this way!

Her tight black shirt showing off the fact,
She wears no bra,
Oh so beautifully proud,
She lifts her mane of curls,
And dares all of us with her cleopatra eyes.

Black mascara on so thick,
On anyone else it would look so sick,
But it carries over such beauty,
In fakeness,
Wanting,
So bad it hurts,
What none of us can have.

The rain dripping down those painted eyes,
My back is raw from the books I hold,
Her long nails are free from everything,
But that cigerette.

I walk away but I steal one more look,
Of that fucking girl,
With those stupid nails.

She's there every day,
Teasing me with her eyes,
Then turning away indifferently,
Knowing she's gotten under,
Just one more persons skin.

I won't bend,
I swear to God I'm not like this,
Then why do I dream,
I taste her kiss?
