-me-

You know me.
Everyone does.
I'm the kid next door,
The good son,
The brother you never had,
The father that never was.

You know me.
Everyone does.

You watch me,
You label me.
My actions, you understand,
But my thoughts? A mystery.
You'll never really understand.

You think you know me.
Everyone does.

You tell me where to go,
Who to be.
You demand my answers,
And deny my choice.

I'm to young, and to old,
To serious, and never mature enough.
You want the world,
So you take it from me,

You think you know me,
Everyone does.

You've been here before,
but you still don't understand.
So you try to "help" me through this,
But you just push me down.

You don't know me.
Nobody does.
