I watch the early morning world form here.
People's thoughts, dreams, and fears.

I can see daylight bucking from under the foggy world
of smog, car and predicaments
many people are sleeping, dreaming of friends forgotten
but I am awake
Silver grass cuts the air with knife like accuracy
but our breath, meerly turned to ice
A lone light flickers from beyond the trees
comes out of an old folks home,
the chance for escape? New beginings?
A Jogger passes by, aiming for the goal of life,
the prize to live longer
Whilst a squirral, collecting food
just wants to be alive tomorrow

I watch the early morning world from here
People's thought, dreams and fears
