Secluded Garden

They escape the roars of explosion filling the darkening air

The pale moonlight shines down on him as he leads her to the circle
The roses smell of a divine luxury in this secluded garden
He stops and touches her face ever so gently
Her lips trail along his cheek

They hold each other for a final time
Just long enough to see the stars burst through the sky
Closer and tighter she wraps her arms around his body
Farther and farther their minds drift away

They stare into each others eyes and speak of words not spoken
Slowly, the storm erupts for its last call
She cries her tears, but he is too paralyzed to wipe them away
The violent tremors erupt through their body and overtake their souls

Their last thoughts fade away as existence ceases to be forever
