NAKED SOUL
Who’s love is kept in thine eyes What beauty does thy love for So painful does my heart beat, as naked tars fall down these already bruised cheeks. So dry these lips feel, no softness, no moisture do entreat them Cast a glance at me, thy love For I doth shall love thee forever But what is the basis of life if my lover never implores it Oh, these shallow tears drown me in my misery My mind hungers for dreams of love rather than death Oh these selfish stars, how cruel hath they been to thee My dying wish as I hold this dagger to my heart is for thy to rescue me, Before I join heaven’s mystical beings But sadly as I depart, my love has not saved me from this miserable life I, now a spirit, do see I was mistaken all along So foolish was I, blinded by love’s suffocating blanket To think in authenticity that thy eyes would fall in love with mine That thy heart would beat uncontrollably at the sight of me A naked soul rests upon dying coals of heat Only to be scorched once again by my love
