Silently chanting a resonant song As lithe bodies weave among the boughs Gleaming with the glow of the night Exuding as much beauty as darkness allows. Silently whispering the rush of the wind Hissing through dancing leaves Playing with the naked stems of the grass Alone with the unity in which they believe. At one with the pale black of the moon Hollowed in fantastic shine They waltz bare breasted through the haze, A moving entity best left undefined. Desperately clinging to that subtle grace Which centuries are hopeless to seize Sliding silhouettes morphed with the shadows Silently dancing among the willow trees. |
