Chained to the Yellow Brick Road

Excuse me sir, Oh pardon me
Was it you who let in this reality?
Was it you who questioned my morality?
Was it you offset my fantasy?
Why are you now the judge of me?
Just close the door and let me be.
There's really nothing left to see...
Please take these lies and broken dreams
Because for them I have no need.
If you follow I will flee.
What "truths" you have to take with thee?
If you leave so quietly
You will hear me start to weep
I'll cry a growing ocean a mile deep
That ocean will soon flood out the seas
And drown you heartless human beings.
I apologize now for my dastardly deed,
But what do you want from someone like me?
A smile at the world? After all I've seen?
What a ridiculous thing for you to plead.
I cannot smile, I barely breathe.
Look at what's become of me.
When I gave you my heart it wasn't to keep.
Excuse me sir, oh pardon me...
but was it you who let in reality?
