Why did you go away from me?
I was so alone or couldn’t you see?
I’ve lived for this moment that I could get you back,
Yet I cant its simply a strength I lack.
The strength to shout out and turn on you.
To lash out and cause pain like I wanted to.
Instead the warm tears fall down my face,
You rush forward holding me in soft embrace.
So firmly re-united at last,
Its as though we’ve forgotten the past
You waited for me all these years,
So cold the nights, so strong my fears.
Yet now we are together again,
Forget all the sorrow, forget all the pain.
We’ll stop these stupid sobs and then,
Walk through the gates into this safe heaven.
