The phone rings I pick up and hear his distant voice The man I've tried to avoid Is coming to pick me up because- "We need to talk" My knees are weak and so were my words He desperately honks 3 times upon arrival His impatience is written all over his face Before I can reach for my seat belt He speeds away from the curb I'm nervous He doesn't seem very troubled I notice him eye my thigh His knuckles tighten around the wheel I shift in my seat with uneasiness It's late, it's dark I want to go home He pulls into an empty parking lot Before I can speak, he grabs my neck And he pulls me closely into him He starts ripping at my clothes I scream, I kick and fiddle with the door handle I slap him in a moment of furious shock As he places his hand on his red cheeks I jolt for the door and tumble out I lay, crying and shaken, on the cold pavement He gets scared and slams on the accelerator His tires peel away Black streaks are left on the ground and mascara streaks run down my cold face I'm left alone... He's finally left me Alone |
