The Deep End

My head pulses pain
My eyes feel the rain
Feeling mixed once again
The blackhole has me within
And no matter how often I tear
Life makes sure it's unclear

This hopeful heat eventually burns
And my aching heart again yearns
The love of my life who will come
Makes me fumble, mumble, and seem dumb
First do look
At this book
But do not judge
Or see their grudge
For this impression you see
Might not be the real me

I kiss your soft forehead
As you're off to go to bed
Remembering every word you said
My cheeks tingle, turning red
I smile
For awhile
The fire
Of desire
Tastes so sweet
As we first meet
But it will turn sour
Down to it's last hour
There's nothing you can do
Swimming in skies of blue
Dreaming away in your arms
Sweetened by your playful charms
Hoping to steer from the past
Hoping this relationship will last.
