An Angel Questions

I sit back watching, my wings aglow.
I sit there watching, do they know?
Do I exist, do you care?
Do you exist, are you really there?
How can you be certain now
That I'm not watching from a cloud?
Eyes ablaze, soul on fire,
Flap my wings, soar even higher,
Soar out into the universe
Are my questions a blessing or curse?
One-winged angels, that's all you are,
For two-wings like me, heavens not so far.
I am the light, I am the hope,
In the darkness I send a shining rope,
Maybe I'll catch a soul one day,
Then I wont feel so alone all day.
So I sit back watching, if you only knew
That rope in the darkness, I sent it…for you
