Raindrop

I am a raindrop
A round little
Ball of water
Words slide off
my bubble
Do not stick
Get out of here
I bring life
Or I bring sadness
I am growth
Or I am confusion
I watch from
inside my protective
shell
Seeing things distorted
but they look fine to me
I watch you from
inside this ball
Seemingly unreachable
But easily squashed
Your or me or both
I do not know
I cascaded or
begin to evaporate
I don’t stay in
one place too long
Rolling along
Water distorts
and hides and
holds many secrets
From the outside
I am just fine
bubbly, normal
Maybe you should
Adjust your eyes, hey?
