She served no purpose Her being Her existence She lived, yet hardly For know one cared Know one knew her face, Until one day Until one day she was seen And not as anyone had been seen before But as if just appearing From thin air And it didn’t make sense Nothing made sense And did she care She cared more than we would ever know Never caring before To thriving off her very breath For she could do know wrong And she almost wished Almost wished that know one knew her That no one cried for her when she was gone Yet somehow she didn’t Yet never again was she able to hide She had worked so hard With tears, and screams, and nighmares To get where she was And then she got there She finally reached the end And realized in a way It was worse than the beginning Yet she wouldn’t let herself believe That she had worked so hard Breaking, sacrificing, giving everything she was For nothing
