Step by Step I take
As I go down this road
alone,
No longer searching
for that place which
I now call home.
I have no one there
to guide me,
No one to show me
the way;
But it's all good,
I know my night
from day.
It feels great
to be on my own,
My path is clearly
shown.
So Step by Step I take,
Going over decisions
I'll soon have to make;
Another door has opened,
A new journey has begun,
But on this path I'll
remember all the work
I have loved and done.
