I’m stuck in a pattern
That I just can’t shake
You sit by and watch as my heart starts to break.
I travel in circles
And fall far behind.
I’m losing my sanity,
Losing my mind.
Standing at the edge,
I face life alone
With no where to go,
No place called home.
I can’t forget my past
Can’t seem to let go.
The thoughts take over,
The truth no one will ever know.
I stumble through each day
Barely scraping by,
My mind fills with questions
And I just start to cry.
