can't let myself feel.
how can this not be a dream
when it all feels so surreal?
the color fades
to dull shades of gray
walking invisible
all through the day.
keeping to shadows,

smile to the world
tell everyone you're ok.
even when you feel
like you have so much to say.
strive for perfection
don't slow down
even when your world
gets turned upside down
this is the path you chose

hold on with all your might

don't let them show through

wipe dry your eyes

doubts and worries
