I burn in silence
left in doubt
a dim glow in the world
shining in vain light
Sitting here alone
in this dark, lonly void
I wonder out loud
thoughts falling on deaf minds
Drifting in nothing
my dim light shines on
a signal to no one
but yearning for someone
My light drifting on
grows dimer with the years
hopelessness weaves in and out
running low on a loom of time
My light burned out
in the end of time
having encountered many others
and lighting the way for each
My light burned in vain
until the end
guiding others with tis light
but without light losing way
