Just Thinking

Just Thinking
Jonathan Chin
May 9, 2002

You never lost faith in me.
Whatever walls I erected between us
were worthless
Even though I could plainly see
my hands falling to ash
and gathering at my feet.

I think I need to apologize.
Sifting through the fallen walls,
I keep finding your name
etched into the ground.
