peace and love
thats what the world revolves around
fighting and hate
its what people hate to choke down
they want to belive
nothing bad can happen
but when it does
they look around
to see where to place the blame
no matter what, its always the same
people hate to think
that they bring each other to the brink
and then watch them sink and float on by
with nothing more said than a whispered sigh
why must it all be like this?
why cant i have just one more wish,
to make everything better,
to make everything right,
and to put all the bad out of everyones sight? |
