Dieing Embers

I see through eyes,
Covered with lies,
Swirling mists of opaque light,
Fill these unclear thoughts of mine.

All this pain,
You’ve given me,
All these lies,
Have nearly broken me.

Heaven is full,
Of its rusting bells,
There’s no place left,
Only hell.

All is so heavy,
Air is so thick,
Every step feels like a mile,
Every stumble holds a trip.

So I guess I’d trust you,
If I didn’t believe,
The first chance you got,
You’d just stab me,
In the back.

So what holds my salvation?
Or am I just to be an eternal abomination?
