It’s been so long,
Since I’ve thought of them,
Its felt like forever
Since I’ve seen them.
Time corrodes,
Everything I’ve known
Friendships erode,
When you’re in different time zones.
The memories that I had,
Just seem to fade,
Leaving me ambivalent,
In every way.
Has it been four years?
I can hardly tell,
All I remember was how,
Living there felt like a small hell.
The friends I’ve made,
Are all gone,
People that say ‘some things are forever’,
