Clash

So why did you leave,
Your attention deceived,
Your true intentions,
Leaving honorable mentions,
Of your deceitful act,
That caused you to attract,
First you misused my attention,
Then you horribly twisted my affection,
Till I couldn’t live without you,
Everything reminded me of you.

The air, writhing through the trees,
The cold’s icy freeze,
Which is left to remind,
Of your intentions not sublime,
Twisting my love for you,
Memories of past love ensue.

Past love that was happy,
Past love that was sad,
All these conflicting thoughts,
Driving me completely mad.

I wish to find solace,
For these reflections of the past,
But I find none by myself,
Because all my thoughts seem to clash.
