Bands of hatred mar my skin, Constricting me with eternal sin, So what can I do to break free? Of these bands of hate that confine me, I consider the penalty of my actions, But am overtaken by temptations, Forcing me to defy the rules, Created long ago by simple fools, So I search for that, which is hidden, That which is the most forbidden, Concealed from sight, veiled in mystery, To discover it would be heresy, For no mortal shall know the clandestine, Way to live without sin.
