Untitled Creation

Brittle rosebushes
whisper
then complain
in the pardoning wind.

Their leaves, rattling
and mocking
the window in her
ornate disguise.

Pixies
pilfer the thorns
to masquerade
as predators
in the lambent moonlight,
while mice, simply
borrow
the petals and cling to hope,
feline free dreams under scented sheets.
