falling helpless from above
sinking into an unknown world
long dead leaves break her fall
the eyes of curious children look up to her
she reaches out to her broken wing
one child stands to help
panic fills her face
and she quicly stands to run
the peering eyes of one who's stood
burn into the back of her head
she kneels down to meet the curious eyes
only to see herself reflected in them
a fallen angel in a strange world |
