there once was kid
that no one wanted
he went from family to family
group home to group home
Not even his peers liked him
he was so unwanted
that one time he killed 10 people
and the police wouldn't arrest him
said he'd just tie up the states money
so he jumped off a building
to end his misery
but death wouldn't come
said he had better things to do
so his soul was forever lost to the earth
which by the way
didn't want him either
I didn't want to write this poem
which was about a boy
who was very unwanted
who didn't even want himself
But I wanted to write
not about the unwanted
just about how the unwanted
wanted to be wanted
and how sometime the wanted
want to be unwanted |
