I am afraid of holding my breath under water.

I look under the covers before I climb into bed for bugs.

I listen to every creak in the house, wind blowing etc at night and then I get out of bed all nervous like and check the locks on my windows, look behind the shower curtain and under my bed.

I am super freaked out of looking out a window from great heights.

Not having enough time.

Job interviews.

Not being able to be the saviour/solution finder for various family members.

A potential Flood, being unprepared.

Walking to the corner store at night.

I'll try and intro myself on another thread. Super comforting hearing all of you ---- I laughed so hard at the bickering in this thread, good times.

fear, wow. Um, a lot.
My main fears are
-Death
-people not accepting me
-confined spaces with lots of people standing and moving. Sitting is fine, just not a lot of people moving.
-Dementephobia
-large, open spaces indoors.

Funny thing is, I dont have the 'normal' fears like needles or sharp objects. I love small spaces when I'm the only person.

My fear is being tortured, like water boarding. Someone putting me in water and I only have a very small tube to breath with.

what moonprayer said. i do not want to create another human being who will go through what i have been through, or suffer because of my inability to nurture. though i also have a fear of never sorting my s--- out enough to be able to have kids.

I have no real fears, death I will embrace the day it comes. But I guess full body paralysis and not being able to speak. And not to be able to take your own life or to ask for it.
Let us call it fear of losing all control.

Not accomplishing everything I'd like to in this life before it's too late.

Seriously, I'm afraid of never feeling happy again. The last time I felt truly happy I was three years old. I'm in my fifties. It's a long time to be unhappy.

Its because your too controlling. People who are unhappy don't take enough risk.

@Scoutabout, there's some gay quote about happiness being like a butterfly, and it evading you only when you seek it out. I say f--- that theory. Stalk happiness down and throttle it into submission. I'd like to see that quote feature in a Disney movie.
