the past year, I noticed I had social problems. Then I noticed I wasn't focusing on school. Then I read about inattentive ADD and was like HOLY s--- this describes me preciously. I read on the forums, and made more and more connections... which made me analyze myself more and more.

I took this test, and got Low except for these:
Schizotypal: Moderate
Antisocial: Moderate
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: High

Yeah I agree I have an avoidant personality.. But I think its because I have difficulty focusing in a LOT of situations. I didn't have a poor self-image, until I really realized all my little problems.

"Often, they will create fantasy worlds to substitute for the real one. " - it says the same thing about inattentive ADD. All my problems are caused by some obvious deficiency. I can't read a full book, and I can't keep up with conversations... so yeah this leads to fear of embarrassment... I've naturally been hiding my ADD. I don't have low self-worth, if anything I have overly high self worth

Anyone have some insight on this predicament. I've been misdiagnosed in the past, and I'm afraid it will happen again. I'm afraid theyll focus too much on my personality and drift me away from the core cause.

I have Inattentive ADD and this is how I scored:

Paranoid: High
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Low
Avoidant: High
Dependent: Moderate
Obsessive-Compulsive: Low

I would be very curious to see how others with ADD-I score, if their results show a tendency to lean toward the schizotypical/avoidant?

I also have ADD. I have a great want to define myself as a person and find it so difficult to do so. Does anyone else have this problem?

I feel like there is a relationship between ADD/paranoid schizophrenia. Im curious to know how many ADD respondants are taking amphetamine meds, and if this is influencing their paranoid-schizo mindset...

flowerpower: I think I have the same problem with defining myself as you do. I spend ages sometimes obsessing about what kind of person I am and I can never work it out.
I don't have ADD- but here are my results:
Paranoid: Very High
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Moderate
Borderline: Very High
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: High
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: Low

Ok, here we go.
I was diagnosed with adhd last year.
I am mostly inattentive, but have learned that i focus better while i do something physical, so i assume that i looked more hyperactive than i really was.
I am also diagnosed with unspecified personality disorder, avoidant/ unstable.
So how did this happen?
Paranoid: Low
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Low
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Low
Avoidant: Moderate
Dependent: Moderate
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

I remember a year or two ago, when doing the same test, i had several very high, some high and moderate, and maybe one or two low. I am very happy to see changes:-D
I do not eat medication of any kind on a regular basis, I get ideas that they will break down both body and mind.
And I really like those parts of me, regard them as necessary.
I dont eat anything the doctor does'nt eat.

( will smoking weed make you appear schizotypal?) this could explain a few things, if right?!

Schizotypal: Very High
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Very High
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Moderate

Paranoid: Moderate
Schizoid: Moderate
Schizotypal: High

Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Very High
Narcissistic: High
Avoidant: Moderate
Dependent: Low

This is my score. I wonder if that's what I have. I haven't been able to concentrate on anything lately. Plus, I have a fantasy world. I feel really stupid for typing that, but it's the truth.

Wow after reading all the posts above I am finding a huge correlation with my results n the results of everyone. Here are my results:

Paranoid: Moderate
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: High
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: High
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: High

I don't know what I exactly have because I am still trying to figure it out and haven't seeked professional medical help yet because I am too scared to even tell anyone everything that is clearly wrong with me, but one of the obvious things that has always stood out is my inability to focus and my fantasy world (itff8096 I feel stupid for typing this as well n is the main problem that stops me from seeking help because I feel its one of those things that is so strongly connected by people to the term "crazy" I'm scared people will think I'm crazy or that it will make me realize I'm crazy). Since I cant focus (which is due to my fantasy world) I've always thought I have ADD. I've been looking up Schizotypal n all the other types of disorders related to Schrizoprhenia & keep finding that certain aspects clearly relate to my problems. Skeeterpup2003 I think there is a connection between ADD Schizotypal n Avoidant. I identify with a combination of aspects in all 3 of these disorders not clearly just one of them. I wonder if there is a solution or medicine that would treat the majority of symptoms in all disorders?

I have ADHD and these are my scores (Believe me, ADHD is different from inattentive ADD and normal ADD.)
These were my scores-
Paranoid: High
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Low
Borderline: Moderate
Histrionic: Moderate
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: Very High
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: High
Yea-I have lots o' mental issues. Let's not even get into my main mental problems, aside from ADHD. According to wiki, a lot of predominately right-brained people are slightly schizotypal and avoidant (right brain rules over images and creativity in your brain. left brain rules over logic and all that good stuff).

I have inattentive ADD and these were my results:

Paranoid: High
Schizoid: Low
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: Moderate
Borderline: Very High
Histrionic: Very High
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: High
Dependent: Very High
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

I'm not on meds for ADD, my parents think I'll be fine because my dad has it too. The doctor already said that I have depression and anxiety but cannot determine if I have Bipolar or Borderline. Sadly, I can't afford to continue to seek help to find out what's going on with me.
