I am so sorry to bother anyone who bothered to give advice to a stressed out tween, but I really do need this advice.

For a while now (about a year or two) I have been... Seeing things that no one else can see. And other symptoms of Schizotypal and other related medical condidtions. I took the test here and got this:

Paranoid: Very High
Schizoid: High
Schizotypal: High
Antisocial: High
Borderline: Very High
Histrionic: Low
Narcissistic: Moderate
Avoidant: High
Dependent: High
Obsessive-Compulsive: Moderate

Now, I know that this isn't a real medical diagnosis, but all of the symptoms for everything marked from high to very high happen very often. It scares me. And, to top it all off, my parents think I'm lying and making it up to get attention. When I finally got the nerve to tell my friends, they gave me funny looks. They haven't spoken to me in 6 months.

The advice I need is if I should convince my parents to take me to a doctor, get help, or really Anything at all, or if you think it's nothing, and that I'm just a stupid, easily-fooled little girl. If I should convince my parents, does anyone have any advide as to How??? I'm just so scared...

Thank you so much for your time and patience.

Sounds like you are in a tough situation.
Have you considered talking with a school counselor? He/she may be able to advise you or even talk to your parents.
That's what I would do as a first step.
Good luck!

Maybe the things you're seeing really exist, and we're all blind to it.

I agree with synapse personally, & that it's probably nothing big to worry about unless it's interfering with your life. if it's not, speaking from personal experience, you'll get used to it. if it is interfering however, yeah... try to get your parents to get you checked out.

Okay.
Go and see your school counselor as a start and talk to her and clear some things out.
You dont want to jump to conclusions.
Some people go through phases while growing up and this might be just a phase for you.
If you really think that your problem is getting worst, then you should consider all your options.
Do a pro and con list and see what you decide on doing.
Im only 15 yrs old and i'm so sorry that you feel that way.
i hope i helped a little.
goodluck!

First off, I'm glad you realize this isn't a real medical diagnosis. Don't let it scare you. I'll tell you the same thing I told someone else on this site. I'm a psych major in college and I'm taking an abnormal psych class that talks about these disorders. If's there's anything I have learned that is important for you to keep in mind, it's the fact that you can have eight or nine of the symptoms for a disorder but still won't be diagnosed with it. It can take up to twelve or fifteen symptoms to have a disorder.
Another thing to be aware of is that many of these disorders can overlap each other and appear very similar. So, when you take an online test like this it will have difficulty telling disorders apart compared to a psychologist who can thoroughly go over the results and diagnose you correctly.
Also, if you did see a psychologist and they had you take a test like this it would be called the MMPI-A and it would have more than five hundred questions. I'm not kidding. So, don't let this influence you too much.
Second off, friends your age will often react the way yours did because they won't know the right thing to do or say. They are simply not going to know how to react. Go to adults.
Now, I have to say that it is a good thing you are seeing the psychologist your school recommended. Talk to him/her about the test you took on this site and what you think of the results. He will help you understand this and clarify things for you. That's his job.
I guess that's my advice. I apologize if you take offense to anything. Most people your age aren't thrilled with seeing a psychologist, but they are trained for exactly this and will know best what to do. I also apologize for practically writing you a novel. Hopefully this wasn't too long and you could get through it:)

if you think you may have schizophrenia the next time you see these things say that its just a deasese and these things are not real. thats what i do anyway but if you are scared of having a deasese see someone to prove that you dont have anything.
