What brought me to this site is when I was google searching "famous people with schizoid personality disorder" after filtering yahooanswers of course as the general consensus on those were usually the idea that schizoids love privacy so the idea of fame repels them, and thus you will never find any "famous" schizoid because none of them would pursue careers in acting, politics or any public type of work.

Until now, the only thing I was able to find was Franz Kefka, an early writer known for his distaste in close relationships and his asexuality. But he fails to fit my criteria for famous as I had no idea who the hell that was and can guarantee that a minority of the population does.

Recently, I have come to a realization about one of my favorite artists, 50 cent.

People who dont know him well arent aware of the fact that despite him portraying himself as a hardcore partyboy in his music videos, he rarely attends any clubs, and doesnt even drink.

He lives alone in his huge mansion that has like 50 bedrooms and 38 bathrooms, and he never pursues real relationships, just buys a hoe every now and then when he gets too lonely.

He explained in an interview that he has "trust issues" and views socializing as a waste of time and a distraction from more important things.

When he was a kid, he grew up without a father. His mom was 15 when she had him and never really raised him beyond providing the bare necessities, a common environmental factor which experts cite as a major cause for the disorder.

One source categorizes schizoid into different types. I dont recall their exact names, but one is schizoid with depressive features, one with schizotypal features, narcissist, and one an antisocial subtype, which is probably what 50 cent is.

So to anyone thats curious, there's your answer.

An artist? Oh sweet, pathetic Pelvis. He lives alone because he's a talentless nightmare.

What do you know about talent and art, Rio?

I know that speaking over a generic beat does not qualify as either. At least eminem is occasionally poetic. But 'music' aside, 50 cent is borderline retarded. He should wear a helmet whenever he ventures outdoors.

Eminem is the motherfucking King, man. He brought the soul in hip-hop out in the open and revitalized from what was temporarily a shitty dark age in rap after Tupac got snuffed. Unfortunately, that golden day had to end, and it did a while ago.

I havent been listening to 50 cent's recent records, but I can tell you that his earlier singles, while not matching Eminem's talent still had it all, and have honored the traditional poetic element that hip-hop was supposed to convey. Sadly rap rarely does this anymore, and most of it is garbage.

If you wanna listen to a true retard, dig Ludacris. Such a fucking obvious, poser-boy cocksucker, doing nothing but exploiting illiterate little gangster-wannabe negroids with his unmelodic bullshit.

While I agree that eminem is a true lyricist, I find his bipolar self-esteem tiresome. Sometimes he's "Cinderella Man", and others he's a trailer-trash kid that got screwed by the world. Some consistency would be appreciated. Half dollar is still a retard, I can't be convinced otherwise.

"I find his bipolar self-esteem tiresome."

Its not his fault. His ex was the bitch of bitches. He attempted suicide once by swallowing pills when she kept giving him shit for no reason. Frankly, if I had to deal with a crazy bipolar cunt like that, I probably would too.

ROFL. I'm fairly certain that a vast majority of all more or less educated people knows Kafka.

I read about him a few years ago.
