i think that schizotypal thing is a load of crap. some new buzzword trend preying on people's proneness to insecurity. i am eccentric looking because of my confidence and dismissive attitude to fashion, and i doubt that i act eccentric, but if i do, then that is great with me because my favourite people are eccentric - they do not fit into the normal social square. ner ner ner ner, ner. |

I don't think this forum is censored at all... I like it too. :) And you're welcome to have your own opinion. I'm just glad there's a small forum for insecure emotional ppl like me. |

So basically you're a weirdo, out of touch, got no people skills and think you're fine. Then you have kids who you bring up with a distorted picture of reality while they go to school and wonder why everybody else seems so normal and happy and why they always the ones who keep getting singled out. They grow up to be insecure like you and end up doing a columbine when they cant handle their confusion anymore. Hopefully the purpose of the disorder is to make sure youll never f---ing breed, but we all know what the true purpose is. |

I take offense :( But i see your angle, schizoid and schizotypal are oh-so-similar and i think thye should just be the same, maybe with an added symptom to make it, well, fit better. Opinion-wise, yes, we'll let you post it as long as it isn't worded all too offensive ;) PS. I believe the standard curse words are censored, along with emails and URLs. |

Hip, that's sad if that stuff keeps happening to your kids. My kids are doing fantastically. Why do you take offence, fatal? Did you invent it lol?) Hopefully a psych student comes along soon and explains why 'Schizotypal' is a valid / useful diagnostic basket for people. |

Cause i got a V.High and fit most of the symptoms. But i was only messing, its just an opinion right ;) Well i started college monday, and i'm actually taking psych but had my first lesson today but that was a mere introduction to what it is lesson. So yeah i'm no help there :p |

How did I word it offensively, I just said he should never breed, but it appears he already has, so too late. That your kids are doing fine is such a schizotypal statement. And Fatality, theres a big difference in avoiding close relationships because you think people are after you, and because you merely choose not to. The former denotes neuroticness, the latter denotes choice. |

I don't get half of what Hip said... whose kids? choice and neurotics? what? Anyway everyone can have their own opinions :D Oh yeah I took a summer course for Psych 1 at my local cc.. was very interesting :D wasn't a serious class though, got an easy A.. anyway that's when I learned about BPD, it just popped off the page because the symptoms were an exact description of me :O |

okies fatal whew lol:))that's awesome you can do uni, am trying to find out whether i can read enough manuals to attempt law. i think i scored high in that schizotypal. i need some official wording i guess to have more respect for the defs i found on line hip i hope you are doing ok. |

Okay, my bad I completely misinterpreted almost every post in the thread, wow. I thought Fatality was replying to MY post and accused me of calling schizotypal/schizoid the same thing, so I clarified the difference. kez said that his kids are doing fine so I told him he only thinks that cuz he's schizotypal, lol. |

| lol hips that is pretty funny. well one is getting distinction awards from directly from principal for most improved performance, and the younger one is really popular with his classmates and apart from being very fidgety, seems totally normal. (to me, the super ruined sychizoly individual. lol) | |
