| just wondering who here is paranoid and what your experience of it is etc etc.. My shrink very delicately suggested today that i have a 'paranoid personality style' and i looked it up and it just seems so ugly. yet i can't entirely disagree with it. although don't entirely agree either. and the prognosis is poor. boo. | |

| oh. funny, when you said 'i do' i got paranoid that you were confirming that i'm paranoid. god! what are you paranoid about? apparently (according to my shrink) there is 'paranoid personality disorder' which is bad news but then there's just plain paranoid as a feature of other things, which is what i've got. | |

When I go to bed, I'll get paranoid at the tiniest sound and have to calculate if it was just a regular house noise, and if my dog who sleeps with me gets all excited/perks his head up I get worried if there's someone trying to intrude on the house. Only paranoia I get, but I don't think it's clinical |

| I get paranoid about everything. Like a few min ago I went to the bathroom and I always turn around while I'm peeing because I think I forgot to lock the door. | |

OMG we should have a ghost story telling session. exorcise our paranoia. once i thought there was someone in my house and i got so scared, got out a butcher knife and started Delirius i wonder if that's OCD. not to say that you aren't paranoid but it seems like a paranoia of the 'is the oven off' variety. like something my bf would do (who has OCD).. i wonder what causes paranoia. mostly i am paranoid that i have alienated people. or that people are talking about me. |

| Well I do have OCD but I'm also paranoid about other things like vampires under my bed and people trying to stab me. I'm more or less over those but I still don't let my feet out of the covers at night. | |
