I was wondering if anyone knows if you can still be schizophrenic and not see things all the time and not hear voices all the time. Like I had an episode that lasted around 9 months where I heard voices and was delirious. My doc hasn't really given me any answers to what caused this but I was wondering if anyone knows if u could still have Schizophrenia but not see stuff all the time and not hear voices all the time. Thanks for any input u can give me!

I *think* its possible. But it wouldn't be the standard schizophrenia, it would be a variation of it (like paranoid schizophrenia is without delusions).

It has to last at least six months to be schizophrenia.

One percent of all people in the US have schizophrenic episodes like this so yea it was schizophrenia but that doesn't mean you have it now.

One percent is like 3 million people, that is a LOT.

I don't understand why you would want the voices to leave, nor why you'd wish to define what (who) they are... But.. I'd just love to know, what did they uh, say...? ^^'
