| Elisa, please tell me you arent complaining about the whether in Canada LaLibertaria. Regardless of how wet it is, at least you guys are warm. In this goddamn dry wasteland in Alberta, it went from 30 degrees to -7 in only one night yesterday. To top it off, i had my air-conditioner on because it was so hot inside... | |

hi fantasy.i hate election propagandas. is going on in canada too. elections of the mayors. i am baffled how people can keep getting excited about believing and electing someone who they think will change their world and then after a while start blaming and critisizing the same person. i never understand politics and politicians. that is why i have never voted and will never do. David Russell Williams, formerly referred to as Colonel Russell Williams, is a murderer, serial rapist, and former Colonel in the Canadian Forces. he was in the military for 23 years and has been awarded with several military high rank awards and was earning $12,000/month when he was convicted with two counts of first-degree murder along with another 82 charges relating to breaking and entry. On October 21, 2010, Williams was sentenced to two life sentences.the most bizarrous thing is that he would break enter, take pictures of the victims' lingeries, and do other disturbing stuffs(read for yourself..:() and steal them as trophies and keep all the thousands of photos and videos inhis laptop. why would a highly functioning colonel would do something bizarre like this? hi hip. OMG! from 30 to -7 overnight? and the air-con on? can't imagine how frozen you'd been..poor you.oh Alberta! Repent! I am more than glad i am out of it. vancouver might be wet all the time, but yeah, atleast warmer and doesn't fluctuate that bad in here. my advise to you,hip : migrate away from alberta! |

Elisa, democracy is a giant crock of shit, it is 51% of people dictating 49% of other. Both sides expect the new leader to be radical, when they dont understand that the dichotomy they built for themselves would not be able to handle any radical changes, not without spawning a violent revolution that is. I actually feel sorry for the leaders, especially Obama who tries his hardest to keep his policies latent enough so his supporters are not too disappointed and his detractors not too angry. Its like supervising a bunch of annoying schoolchildren, who are not grown up enough yet to understand the concept of compromise. Just look at all the effort and lobbying it took to get that new health care bill passed, which was just barely approved by congress, and it is NOT EVEN fully universal healthcare. To top it off, so many rogue christian conservatives are aggressively filing lawsuits to challenge it... This is how difficult it is to make progress in countries as fucked up as ours. However, not voting does not encourage progress, but the opposite. Trust me i'm not the guy who has faith in politicians that much, but its best to vote for the party that is the most serious in making progress, regardless how actually little "most" means. Here in canada, I would recommend voting for anyone but conservatives. Liberal, NDP, green party, anything. Just please, do your part in keeping the scum out. "hi hip. OMG! from 30 to -7 overnight? and the air-con on? can't imagine how frozen you'd been" Yup, oh and did I forgot to mention that my trailer doesnt have any heating whatsoever? "..poor you.oh Alberta! Repent! I am more than glad i am out of it. vancouver might be wet all the time, but yeah, atleast warmer and doesn't fluctuate that bad in here. my advise to you,hip : migrate away from alberta!" I would but there is no cheaper place to live in with as many jobs without being a hellhole (as is the case with Nunavut, which has the most jobs and highest wages, but the reasons are obvious: few people wanna live in a stupid shithole with nothing but ice. If the economy improves, i'm definitely gonna check out vancouver. |

PaulKersey, i am sorry to have hijacked your thread. didn't mean to, but just that after seeing fantasy after a long time,i got carried away. i relate to some of your points like : "I am baffled by the normalities of life. Everything everyone does seems so boring and dull and stupid to me. I see people smiling and telling jokes and having conversations...". i hate this superficiality. talking to each other some stupid lame stuffs especially the retarded jokes and laugh out loud when it is not funny at all gets under my skin. most of the time i will be like, for heaven sake! don't you have anthing better to offer? that aint funny, just spewy. and so limit myself from engaging in such boring activities. i put up a sulky face to all whom i described above and talk only to whom i feel has good sense of humor and less superficial, which is only a couple in this world. i think you are perfectly okay. schizoid maybe, but not a problem really being one. the girl, maybe you wont be able to fall in love, even i do not exactly know what is being in love, but if you think you care for her, that is good enough. if incase you do get into a relationship, maybe it'll be easier ir your girl has knowledge that she can't except you to be romatic, as by nature you are cold. but that is what you are. |

hip, thanks for the advise.i am pretty sure, not voting doesn't mean any good. vote is everyone's right they say. right for what? i am not sure. anyone but conservatives. that is what they said back in malaysia. and so almost everyone did. out of 13 states, opposition, for the first time in history, won 5 states. of course i did not vote but i was happy. high spiritedly thought something good will happen. alas..nothing much. i can understand it is not easy to supervise a bunch of annoying schoolchildren, but by not voting, i do not have an expectations and frees me from frustration. and your trailer do not have any heating system? God bless you are safe and sound! yes,it is elementaryto know that nunavut will have higher wages than alberta and alberta better than british columbia. just to compare, would you know, how much does a basic cashier earn in your area? trying to do some analysis to get you out of alberta! |

Well, malaysia is a third world country, and if its a poor country it does not matter what system is in place, it will always suck. Canada, however, experienced the longest period of economic growth and high standards when the liberals were in power (Jean Chretien). Then, only a year after a conservative prime minister (Stephen Harper) was elected, the country goes into an economic downturn, mass unemployment and social spending cuts, something the country hasnt experienced for 15 years. What bugs me the most about that guy is how he displayed public admiration for that nazi Ronald Reagan, an anti-canadian who has insulted and threatened Canada so many times for refusing to play his fascistic little games. How canadians can support such treachery towards their own country is beyond me. But yeah, thats why you should vote, not because liberals are guardian angels and conservatives are evil swastika-spinning demons, but because they definitely are more involved in looking out for your interests than the cons. "and your trailer do not have any heating system? God bless you are safe and sound!" Dont worry, my place is very well insulated. I spent a thousand bucks last year coating everything with acrylic mass and foam, and now it takes about 3 days at -30 outside temperature before my room stops being warm. I actually do have a heater, but its on wheels and can only keep one small room warm. "yes,it is elementaryto know that nunavut will have higher wages than alberta and alberta better than british columbia. just to compare, would you know, how much does a basic cashier earn in your area? trying to do some analysis to get you out of alberta!" I think $9 an hour, but I derive this from the fact that 2 years ago minimum wage was $8 and cashiers in most places made $8.50, so now that minimum is $8.40, cashiers probably make $9. |

agreed. which system in in place in malaysia, doesn't really matters. but just to let you know, malaysia aint poor. CAD$1 = MY$3. not really a big difference. thank you for sharing some canadian history here. now that i know the fact, i should know why i have to vote anyone but conservatives. but again, i am yet a citizen, just PR. so can't vote yet.:(. atleast you do have a heater on wheels to warm up a one of the rooms.that is good to have. $9/hour in alberta for a cashier? well,i am earning $10/hour as a cashier. so alberta's wage is lower than british columbia. and the weather is better in here. so why are you still there? or maybe more comparison is needed. tell me, how much is rent for a basic one bedroom basement suite? and how much are essential groceries like eggs and milk in there? |

"i am yet a citizen, just PR. so can't vote yet.:(." Hmm, weird. I was able to vote in the 2008 election even though I only had a permanent resident visa. "$9/hour in alberta for a cashier?" I dont know it for a fact, i'm just assuming. "tell me, how much is rent for a basic one bedroom basement suite?" 2 years ago I paid $525 for a one bedroom suite and $400 for a basement suite, but I dont pay rent anymore, I own my place now, which has 3 bedrooms. I only pay $150 a month for lot maintenance. |
