I could be on a date right now. I cancelled. Said I was sick. I am not sick. Or at least not in the obvious way. I am sick for cancelling while I'm not doing anything anyway. But the problem is, I really like this guy. And I just want it to be perfect..

Don't think that you are sick for being afraid of a disastrous date. :P
I'm doing nothing, pretty much my hobby anyways. :D

Hi,loneliness is horrible isn't it? First time I lived alone I coped by becoming an alcoholic. Second time was years later after I split up with my man; I smoked and watched videos all night until I was too tired to be scared of going to bed. Had to leave the lights on all night as I was scared of the dark. Very lucky now, have a family, both my kids have probs; my son has Asperger's and v.likely schizophrenia, my daughter is pretty sure from checking on this site that she is BPD, could well be, her problems are more subtle, often gets overlooked as her brother is more obvious. They are both such fantastic people and I think the way I am has been good in a way for them; we talk about everything and accept we're all a bit quirky but that's ok. Being lonely was a phase I thought would never end, but it did. Now I never have any rest, my daughter & I have 6 horses (all rescues) and it takes up pretty much most of our time looking after them. I read that horses have 2 more chakras than humans and that their top one is used to communicate with and heal humans. It's possibly why I love being around them, but they just accept you as you are and love you back. I think they're like some sort of guardians of nature, like an interface between us and the nature spirits, it just feels like this, I don't have any evidence. Dogs are fantastic too, my daughter nagged us to get one a few years ago, so went along to a shelter and picked up a 4 yr old lab girl (had been a breeding b---- at a puppy farm), now have another, same history we were asked to take in and they just lay on you and snuggle. I think it's sometimes like a cycle going around and you just have to grab something off the trolley next time it comes your way. When you're busy and you have a lot of people around you, it's easy to forget people who don't have that. Hope someone (human or otherwise) comes your way pretty soon.
Guess what I'm watching The Matrix again. I started writing a book a little while ago, about the nature of reality. My opening line is; "Is the Matrix real? Answer: yes". I really think it describes better than anything I've seen how I really think reality works. Lots more to say, but give someone else a chance. x
