	My father and mother have died in the past few years. My sister and I buried them and many tears fell from my eyes. I can turn the tears on and off whenever I want, but no, I did not "care" in any way other than my own concern for my own life and the changes this was going to make. However, when my mother was in the hospital I came very close to putting a pillow over her head to "help" her along. I did not want to see her in pain if I could help it. But, a second later I thought, yeah right, and then they catch me and back to the pen for the rest of my life. It was not worth it. That's the extent of my care I would say.

	Huh.. Why did you cry then? Is it because your sister was there? You could do as if you were in shock like I did when they looked at me weird for not crying :P

	I guess my reaction would be biased because my family was anything but human, and I could care less if their privates got caught in a grinder. But if someone i knew really well died, I would be shocked and confused for about a day, not knowing what to do or think, but I would still loosely carry on my daily activities, but hardly be able to concentrate. Then in a day or two I would be completely over it like nothing happened.

	I cried with my sister and often at the funerals. I sat shiva with the bodies of both and felt nothing. @ Obsidian "Why did you put quotation marks on help? As if it wouldn't be to help." Because her money was a consideration. Now was that the primary consideration? Or was it a desire not to have her in pain. I am not sure to this day, hence the quotation marks.
