| Isn't Life a game, that is why we are on this earth to play this game, so why do losers get offended when someone wants to play? | |

"Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles? Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them." It tells me that it is our beliefs that determine actions. So, we can determine the value of any principle, belief or idea by looking at the results of it in the lives of those who practically apply it (not just those who claim to). Coming from Jesus it is surprising that he says to cut the bad trees down. It goes against his parable about the black sheep, but there are so many inconsistencies in all of the Abraham books. At any rate, I find out what people believe in and then tie their emotional use of words to their acts to see if I can define their reality better. When there are discrepancies, then they are either latent or something has changed the mindset of the person, whether internal or external. And the degree of the discrepancy is the degree of the denied and hidden intent. |

"I'm not ignorant to the point where I think an apology from you means that you are going to be a different person." And that's why apologies from such people are only for the person expressing his "sorrow". Because they gain out of that transaction. They gain a feeling that 'they' have made everything alright. It feeds into their sickness. You said no to that transaction twice, and I doubt even know is understood. You will very likely make a good counselor Shroud. |

@ Shroud. In your explanation I saw that you're doing it now. Something tells me that you are looking for a quicker resolution or method. I wish I knew one. I don't think there is one at this time. That's why it is a self search that extends outwards. And a long search it is for any analysis of this journey. |

Makes sense. When you say intent, degree, and duration you mean the point they are trying to convey, the level of assertion they have when conveying it, and how long they spend conveying it before moving on? Just wanting to make sure that I am interpreting your terms correctly. I'm still reading about transactional analysis. (My ADD brings all kinds of distractions to interrupt focus.) I was using some of these principles to get certain responses without knowing to call it transactional communication, especially in roles of supervision. I also have my first test subject primed for study. ;) Tomorrow should be interesting. |

It was pretty obvious if you knew what to look for cosmo. I won't be telling you what indications I noticed and I don't think derrick will either, as we would be giving you something for nothing after you've failed at your game. You're still playing mine. |

"Just wanting to make sure that I am interpreting your terms correctly." It depends on the event of course, but you have the general pattern correct and from there it is becomes like a personal algorithm. All you have to do is change the terms and keep the operations the same. So, it will becomes easier as you become more intuitive to their characteristics. The hard part? If you want to help them, you need to learn how to 'grease the path' and that is unique to each and every person you will meet. That's the rub that I have seen personally. |
