Narcissistic: Ugly,

	Hai. I'm just wondering if Narcissists see themselves as good looking as "insert random celebrity", even though they really aren't? That would fit to them seeing themselves as 'perfect'. By that I mean, if they BOTH think they LOOK and ARE like Gods, even if they are just fat, lonely, attention-needers. I don't mean to talk dirt to any of you, but I would like to understand :)

	It depends on the degree. A high degree narcissistic personality is usually pretty intellectual and is able to see what they can do and can't do well. They gravitate to what they can do well and lose track of what they can't do well, but they always know what those things are as they are not fooling themselves. In other words, a short narcissist does not think he is tall. What he might do is find a very tall woman to marry. To prove he is as good as any tall man who marries a tall woman. Then he will look down upon tall men. There is a difference between intellect and common sense. High degree personality disordered people (the ones I have met) do NOT have good common sense, myself included. They create their own house, and hopefully a psychopath does not move in with them. Or they are lost to the manipulation. Narcissists are the easiest to manipulate if one knows what they want and they show you what they want.

	When it comes to look, beauty's a subjective thing, so consider he may simply think he is handsome and not understand your or other people's thoughts to the contrary (or maybe does and doesn't care because he figures some people out there have good taste like him)
